The Doherty Institute aims to improve health globally through research and service delivery for the prevention, treatment and cure of infectious diseases. The Doherty Institute leads the human health stream of the project, and is responsible for overall management.
ASIA-PACIFIC CENTRE FOR ANIMAL HEALTH
The Asia Pacific Centre for Animal Health (APCAH) is an internationally focused research and training centre that aims to optimise animal welfare, production and product quality through improved control of infectious agents. The APCAH lead the animal health stream.
MELBOURNE SCHOOL OF POPULATION AND GLOBAL HEALTH
The Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH) was established on 1 February 2001 as Australia's first School of Population Health. MSPGH is ranked #1 in Australia for public health education and has been at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic response, and is a co-lead for the Policy stream.
