Doherty Institute Seminar Series
Doherty Institute Seminars are held fortnightly on a Thursday, providing an opportunity for staff and the wider community to keep up-to-date with the latest research and developments in infectious diseases and immunology. Free to attend, the seminars provide a forum for the audience to directly engage with the local and international presenters who represent the best in their field. Since their inception, the seminars have been a useful tool for identifying future collaborations. View the 'Events' page for details of upcoming Seminars.
Doherty Institute Immunology Theme – Data Presentation Series
Immunology Theme meetings take place every second Monday, featuring speakers from across the Institute who will share their latest data and ideas. The meeting is followed by informal discussion and networking over pizza in the tearoom.
Student completion seminars
These are an opportunity for our graduate students to receive constructive feedback from an expert audience prior to submission of their research thesis. They provide students with further experience in developing their arguments effectively. This event confirms that you understand your research and illustrates that you have the necessary skills in oral presentations and other research attributes expected of graduate researchers at the University. It is a great way to showcase your achievements and to celebrate with colleagues, family and friends.
