At the first seminar of 2021, we will be hearing from Adjunct Professor Tarun Weeramanthri, a public health physician and the President of the Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA), as well as Associate Professor Margi Danchin, a consultant paediatrician at the Royal Children's Hospital and Associate Professor and Clinician Scientists at the University of Melbourne and Murdoch Children's Research Institute.
They will provide an update on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Australia, in two parts.
Adjunct Professor Weeramanthri will speak first on the topic Complex or complicated? The COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Australia.
Associate Professor Danchin will then speak on COVID vaccines: how can we combat vaccine hesitancy and achieve high vaccine uptake.
