Challenging Allergy

Drug Hypersensitivity Symposium 2023 has an amazing line up of national and international speakers with the focus this year on translating novel drug allergy diagnostics and clinical tools into practice, across; antimicrobial allergy; vaccine allergy; perioperative allergy and more. This will be an in-person evet held at the Doherty Institute (Melbourne, Australia). There will be the option to attend virtually.

A special half day program will be focused on Severe Cutaneous Adverse Reactions (SCAR) and hosted by the Australasian Registry for Severe Cutaneous Reactions (AUS-SCAR) - Frida, 19 May 2023. There will also be an opportunity for young investigators to present noval research in a lightening oral abstract session.

A secondary full day program on Saturday, 20 May 2023 will have international speakers across three key streams:

• Antimicrobial Allergy
• Perioperative Allergy
• Vaccine Allergy (inc. COVID-19)
• Clinical Case Scenarios

International speakers and draft program to be annouced via Centre for Antibiotic Allergy and Research website.

Speakers will be across Allergy, Immunology, Pharmacy, Infectious Diseases and Dermatology.
