Dr Thomas Rasmussen shares his highlights of CROI
Doherty Institute Associate Clinical Director of HIV Cure Studies, Dr Thomas Rasmussen recently returned from the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) in Seattle. The big news to come out of the meeting was the second patient to be in HIV remission following a stem cell transplant, but there were also a number of presentations that described positive results for immune therapy to treat HIV.
