Prospective students learn about postgraduate research opportunities at the Doherty Institute.
Prospective students came in their droves to the Doherty Institute Open Day to learn about postgraduate research opportunities available.
With over 34 research groups and more than 190 graduate research students, the Doherty Institute constitutes a diverse research community with a vast choice of projects spanning microbiology, immunology, epidemiology, clinical and translational research, infectious diseases surveillance and outbreak investigations delivered through the University of Melbourne.
Students were provided the opportunity to hear from project supervisors about their interests inside and outside the lab through a series of short 30 second videos.

They were also given an overview of the Honours, Masters and PhD application process, and heard from current students about their experiences studying at the Doherty Institute.
